Amy Lo, Somatic Practitioner
Amy's journey of self-discovery is a testament to the profound effects of embracing change and nurturing holistic wellness. A family history of health issues and a personal disregard for self-care led her to a pivotal moment in her thirties when she confronted the effects of childhood trauma, feeling unfulfilled and emptiness. This awakening became the catalyst for her profound lifestyle shift. Through diligent training and healthier choices, Amy discovered lasting empowerment and control over her life. Her quest for personal liberation is deeply influenced by her Chinese ancestry, where she observed a culture that suppressed emotions and discouraged open communication. She became a dedicated student, eager to explore the intricate connection between the body, mind, and spirit. This journey led her to become trauma-informed and well-versed in understanding the intricacies of the nervous system.
