This retreat is an intentional journey to rediscover and deepen your inner relationship with the elements—Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.
It's an invitation to embark on a remembrance journey, reconnecting with the ancient wisdom that resides within you. Participants will learn the ancient traditions of Peru, the indigenous ways of the Original People of the Mountains (Apus) & Rivers, and the Quechua teachings.

Kati Inez Mesa-Pachas, MA, CAP, CHT
Kati is the first generation Latin American from her Cuban & Peruvian roots. She was born and raised in New Jersey and began her independence initiation at the age of 14. Her life's journey has trailed her into a space of empowering many in reclaiming and embodying one's own truth, power & medicine. She is a 5th generation medicine & ceremonial woman, and is active within her Quechua & Shipibo community in Peru. Within her academy studies within Kean University (Criminal Justice), Lesley University, Dhyana Ayurvedic Education, Sacred Stream Foundations & Oaksterdam University. Her majors and focuses within Holistic & Transpersonal Psychology (Masters), The Science of Cannabis, Mindfulness, Buddhism, Ayurvedic Medicine (dhyana Center Education), Ayurvedic Yoga, Chinese Medicine, Depth & Alchemical Hypnotherapy, Aromatherapy, Elemental Body, Birth Alchemy & Elemental Nutrition. She is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner within the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and a Holistic Transpersonal Counselor. For 10+ years she has facilitated many gatherings throughout the US, Cuba, Peru & Colombia. Providing tools of empowerment, elemental body awareness, ancestral healing, inner child healing, spiritual, emotional, mental, physical healing and life purpose embodiment. Tiago De La Luz- Visionary Artist, Photographer & Medicine Co-Facilitator/Practitioner Visionary artist from Brazil, nomad and nature lover. He began his journey with medicinal plants in 2011 and is currently dedicated to accompanying retreat groups as support to hold the space, facilitating some activities and capturing moments through photography. Tiago is a yoga teacher and also shares art and expression workshops. His main intention as a photographer is to capture the essence of people and empower them by working with natural light making soulful portraits. Captured moments |
Teachers/Guides within Quechua Traditions
Ubaldo Puma - Quechua Facilitator & Teacher
Native of the indigenous community of Ch'eqakupe. A Descendant of the Panacas and Puma families. Who is Fluent in the Marternan language RUNA SIMI "Quechua." Ubaldo studied at UNDQT in Cusco in Rural Education and at Kawsay University in Cochabamba, Bolivia, as a teacher in Intercultural Bilingual Education and Andean Cosmovision. Ubaldo is recognized as a Bilingual Teacher with the native language by the Ministry of Education of Peru. Whom is also the founder of AYLLUNCHIS, a non-profit Intercultural Association that focuses on the work on the conservation and protection of Peru's natural spaces, which are sacred and their cultural areas in the Andeas and the Amazon. Taki Runa- Artist within Ancestral Instrument Making & Sounds of the Earth Taki is a multidisciplinary artist. His art is imbued with the cultural traditions of native peoples and the aesthetics of ancient Andean art. For over 12 years, he has researched and replicated archaeological ceramic instruments from ancient Peru. In ceremonial settings, he offers the vibrations of these ancestral instruments. He conducts workshops on the construction of sacred sound instruments, where he teaches the ancestral techniques of his art to preserve and disseminate this ancient knowledge. He leads the Wakamuchaq school workshop, focused on art and sounds of the earth, located in Pisac, Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru." |
