Retreat In-to the Essences of Your Womb

A retreat created for all beings that has a womb, where we will Journey within a space that is dedicated in deepening our relationship with our womb, body, mind and spirit. Where we will be diving into a Wombman's Journey and the Elements: Ether/Air, Fire, Water & Earth, which is known as the foundation of all things.

For three days, we will immerse within new and ancestral teachings within the care & relationship with our Womb and the Elements. Where you will learn what may be balanced & imbalance within your inner and outer world with your womb. Along with acknowledging the natural initiations that a wombman experiences with the Earth - Pachamama. 


​What does the Retreat entail?

Learn how the phases of preparation, prenatal, birth and postpartum is an unfoldment that not only happens when we have a human being within our womb but that also unfolds when we are on this Journey we call "life". 

Join your fellow Sister, as we connect with the elements through the wisdom of our womb, through bajos (Yoni steaming), breath-work, nutrition, meditation, and shamanic practices. Bringing your awareness to these elements that will increase your self-awareness and embodiment through hands on practices, ancient wisdom teachings, physical, and spiritual practices.

Hands On Practices

Womb Massage: A womb massage aka sobadas is a sacred Indigenous healing practice for women. Womb massages stimulate the reproductive organs. Womb massages are known for improving the reproductive health functions and increasing fertility.

Bajos (Yoni Steaming): Bajos aka yoni steaming is an ancient Indigenous vaginal steam practice. There are various birth workers such as doulas, midwives, and ceremonial women all over the world that work with a blend of herbs used for bajos. Women with yeast infections, pH and hormonal imbalances, vaginal dryness, heavy menstruation, and postpartum mothers are known to practice bajos for their variety of benefits.

Dorms: 
  • 2 Dorm Houses (20 beds)​
​Each house holds up to 20 twin size beds and each room is perhaps 3-5 bunk beds per room. 
Tents:
  • Tenting is optional. (You can bring your own tent if you would like to tent.)

​30 minute 1-on-1 will be based on what your intentions and focus is within your Journey. We will assess one of the following, physical, emotional, mental & spiritual body. Providing insight & recommendations that circles back into one's elemental Journey. A journey that is unique to every single living human being. A journey that no one can embark for you, but you.

T’Karima, Birth Midwife 

​Well Wombman Care (WWC). GYN visit will last 30 minutes depending on the gynecological care you are requesting. 
Included in the visit:
  • Review gynecology/menstrual history
  • Medical and surgical history
  • Any medications and/or supplements you are currently taking
  • Allergies
  • Family history
  • Psychosocial history
  • Nutritional history
  • Health and fitness
  • Physical and breast examination
  • ​Any necessary labs including blood work, STI testing, urine samples, vaginal/cervical swabs, and pap smears​

Kati Inez Mesa, MA, CAP, CHT
​Kati is the first generation Latin American from her Cuban & Peruvian roots. She was born and raised in New Jersey and began her independence initiation at the age of 14. Her life's journey has trailed her into a space of empowering many in reclaiming and embodying one's own truth, power & medicine. She is a 5th generation medicine & ceremonial woman and is active within her Quechua & Shipibo community in Peru.

Within her academy studies within Kean University (Criminal Justice), Lesley University, Dhyana Ayurvedic Education, Sacred Stream Foundations & Oaksterdam University. Her majors and focuses within Holistic & Transpersonal Psychology (Masters), The Science of Cannabis, Mindfulness, Buddhism, Ayurvedic Medicine, Ayurvedic Yoga, Chinese Medicine, Depth & Alchemical Hypnotherapy, Aromatherapy, Elemental Body, Birth Alchemy & Elemental Nutrition. She is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner within the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and a Holistic Transpersonal Counselor. 

For 10+ years she has facilitated many gatherings throughout the US, Cuba, Peru & Colombia. Providing tools of empowerment, elemental body awareness, ancestral healing, inner child healing, spiritual, emotional, mental, physical healing and life purpose embodiment.

Dr. T’Karima Ticitl, LM, CM
T'Karima was born in California and grew up as a Xicana Indigena with her family background from Zacatecas and Jalisco, Mexico, with Mexica/Wixárika roots. She is the mother of three boys, Axayacatl, Kuauhteotl, and Tletlhuitzin, whom she loves so much and all were born at home, in the temazkalli. Her life is dedicated to the ceremony of birth and peyotl. She is a ceremonial woman, active in the Native American Church, Teo Kali Quetzalcoatl and a Mexica dancer with her danza group, Kalpulli Xochiquetzal.
​

She received her bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies from the University of California at Berkeley in 2005, and her Master’s in Childhood Education from New York University in 2006. She earned her Doctorate in Education from the University of Rhode Island and Rhode Island College in 2011. She graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, in May 2019 with a Master's in Midwifery. She is a certified midwife with The American College of Nurse Midwives and licensed by the States of New York and New Jersey.

She has authored six books: Decolonizing Nahua/Mexica/Aztec Children’s Literature, Blooming Flower, Shooting Star, Boys Can Have Long Hair, Too, Evolution of Traditional Doula and Midwifery Arts, Birth is a Ceremony, and My Body, My Birth.

Maru Gonzalez is a Supported Living Counselor, Ayurvedic and ancestral foods chef, certified licensed paramedical skincare professional, and reiki practitioner who, for the past 10 years, has been educating herself in a myriad of alternative and healing arts practices like Ayurveda, TCM, functional medicine, massage, and other manual style of therapies, delving into the anatomy, physiology, and spiritual aspects of human beings.

Currently, she provides care for individuals on the spectrum or other cognitive and congenital disabilities, healthy and sick seniors, postoperative care, pregnant and postpartum women, and end of life. In her practice, Maru assists her clients with proper functional movements, supports their mental and emotional health, guides them into more independent living, prepares nutritional meals, and when possible, helps to integrate mindful practices to enhance their lives. Under her nurturing care and guidance, Maru strives to create a trusting connection between her clients and herself, helping to make what can be a challenging experience easier and more manageable, making a lasting impact in their lives.
